I couldn't sleep this night. This happens to me too often. I am usually doing something and I get all worked up and then it's impossible to sleep. As usual, when I have a white night I post a poem...let me think

do you know that the shrug is a whole chapter in A Year In The Merde. It seems to give English people so much trouble, the shrug..I don't do it very often.
Oh Steli, I keep forgetting I need to read that book, but now I have bought so many, I have 17 books to read. I counted this morning...
At the moment I am reading 3:
Bliss and Other Stories by Katherine Mansfield
Short Stories of Saki (slow going!)
The Interpretation of Dreams by Freud...(two mornings and still haven't finished the introduction)
oh my 17..that's a lot of books...i have read that book par freud i didn't especially like his prose
Day 3 of the book and I am still on the intro. I only read for a few minutes in the morning.
If I am 17 books behind...that means I have bought way too many this year already!
